The objective of the workpackage 1.2 (Licenses for documentation) of the Legal Issues activity of QualiPSo is to provide a license suitable for the documentation of Open Source projects that will be fully enforceable at least in Europe for international (at least European) developments.

The document, available thereafter, briefly discusses the issues surrounding licenses for documentation of FLOSS projects, considers the most relevant existing solutions either specific (existing licenses specifically designed to handle documentation) or generic (not specifically designed for software documentation) and finally concludes that the Creative Commons licenses provide a satisfactory general solution.
