This course is about interoperability testing that is the ability to transfer and use information in a uniform and efficient manner across multiple organizations and information technology systems.
Firstly, the course defines the terms and introduces the main concepts related to interoperability testing, then it presents the current approaches and methodologies to support the interoperability testing.
In summary, the course covers:
- The presentation of Generic Approach to Interoperability Testing methodology (GAIT).
- The explanation of methods for definition of test suites with help of models.
- The presentation of Methodology using Model for Automated Interoperability Testing (MAIT).
- The presentation of the methodology defined for software interoperability testing, focusing on the B2B and B2C software domain.
- The definition of algorithms covering the interoperability test suite derivation step of an abstract interoperability testing methodology.
- The definition of the methodology for the usage of the IIC ebXML Test Framework for conformance and interoperability testing.
