has been launched the 23rd April 2008 in Madrid to review the first proposals for Competence Centres in China, Germany, Italy, Brazil and Spain.

This worldwide Network of Competence Centres will aim at disseminating and developping services in the Open Source Software domain and leveraging the adoption by the industry.
